New girl Katie Salmon admits she's attracted to Sophie Gradon on Love Island 2016 tonight.
Katie wins her way into the villa after a total of EIGHT potential new islanders audition for a spot on the show, with the current lot as judges.
The boys picked Katie from four girls and after joining the villa, Scott and Kady took the opportunity to find out a bit more about her.
Katie told them: “I’m excited to be here, I’m excited to get to know everyone.”
Please with the fact the boys had chosen Katie, Scott told her: “I think we made a good choice, I think you’re going to fit in with everybody.”
Katie then told Kady and Scott the type of guy she usually goes for, saying: “I like tattoos, so Adam, Terry and Alex as well. I’m excited, I wonder who I’m sharing a bed with.”
Kady explained to Katie: “Sophie. She’s a single girl, because you can’t share a bed with a boy until you’ve coupled up with them.”
With a glint in his eye, Scott told Katie: “You know Sophie swings both ways though don’t you?”
To Scott’s gleeful surprise, Katie replied: “Yeah, so do I. I’m bisexual. [Sophie’s] so my type. I go for girls with big boobs, brunette and dimples.”
Astounded, Scott told her: “This is so weird, this is meant to be.”
In the Beach Hut, Kady explained that she wouldn’t rule out something happening between Sophie and Katie, saying: “Sophie’s a good-looking girl, Katie’s a good-looking girl, they both swing both ways. Who knows what could happen? And they’re both each other’s type.”
Leaving her options open, Katie explained in the Beach Hut: “[Sophie] is a very strong female, and I like that in a girl. I like someone who’s very strong, and very dominant.
"She has said that I’m her type, but I’d like to get to know her before I start jumping into things. Like I say, it’s early days with her and Tom. Obviously I might have limited time in here, so I have to move quite quickly. But you can’t move too quickly because you can’t look too desperate, so you’ve got to play it cool.”
However, Sophie found the assumption that two people who are bisexual would automatically be attracted to each other irritating.
In the Beach Hut, Sophie said: “Katie has just told the villa that she is bisexual. She’s bisexual, I’m bisexual, so ‘Oh you guys are going to…’”
With a cheeky glint in her eye, Sophie continued: “Just because a girl has come into the house and she’s bisexual, does not mean that I’m going to straight off be in bed doing stuff with her.”
Nonetheless, Sophie also admitted that she had already had time to rethink the strength of her relationship with Tom.
Sophie told Kady: “It’s still fresh but I’ve been possibly fighting for something that might be just a lost cause.”
Love Island airs tonight at 9PM on ITV2.
