Love Island 2016: Tom Powell decides whether to quit after more rows with Sophie Gradon

Love Island 2016

Tom Powell's future in the Love Island 2016 villa is decided on tonight's show, as he and Sophie Gradon talk things out.

Last night we saw Tom pack his bags as he declared he was leaving, following the entrance of ex-girlfriend Emma-Jane Woodham.

After he began to pack his bags follow a row with her, Sophie begged" “Please don’t go. I don’t want you to go Tom, I seriously don’t. I’ll freak out if you go. I need you here. These things are sent to test us, don’t quit. Walking away from me? Your girlfriend? Thanks, I thought I meant more to you than that. I thought you were stronger.”

Sophie explained to Tom that if he left the villa, then that would be the end of their relationship. She said: “Tomorrow’s a new day. I can’t force you to stay. If you walk away from here, you walk away from me. You need to stay, and you need to work at it and get back to normal.”

Tom eventually decided to stay in the villa for a bit longer to see if they could work out their differences.

But having temporarily patched things up, it wasn’t long before the couple began to bicker once more.

Going back on his earlier decision to stay in the villa, Tom told Sophie: “You won’t have to deal with us anymore. This is the last time we share a bed together. I’m going in the morning. You clearly don’t want to be with me.”

As things between Tom and Sophie got heated, she decided to sleep alone outside the bedroom.

Kady tried to reason with Tom but he refused to calm down and told her: “I’m 1000% leaving in the morning. I’m not staying in here for jack s***. Why would I stay for [Sophie]? [She’s not my girlfriend] anymore. I’m deadly serious, we are no longer together. It’s done, it’s over. We’re not going to get through it. I don’t give a flying f*** anymore, I’m done. It’s over.”

The morning after all the rows the night before Tom spoke to Sophie and tried to apologise for his behaviour. Sophie wasn’t sure if it was too little too late and was ultimately left to choose whether or not to give Tom one last chance.

Sophie told Tom: “This morning I’ve wanted to give you a hug and I’ve wanted to be with you. It doesn’t mean that I feel 100% with you, because I really don’t. Honestly, I’m 50/50. You’ve been making a mug out of me.”

Later, she asked Tom: “If you don’t want to lose me so bad, then why do you act like such a t***? Why do you treat me like s***, why do you speak to me like a piece of s***. We had something amazing but you’ve literally pushed me so far away now, I literally couldn’t care less if you walked out the doors.”

Sophie continued: “I think maybe you being 24 and me being 30, I’ve come through all this. Maybe you need to come through all this with someone else because I don’t have the time of day to play these silly games, I really don’t. I feel like I have to follow how I feel Tom and not just stay with you for the sake of a TV show. I do really, really like you a lot. I just don’t know if it’s [too far gone].

Is it finally over for Sophie and Tom or will the couple be able to work things out?

Love Island 2016 airs tonight at the later time of 10PM on ITV2.
