Kady McDermot and Tina Stinnes clear the air in tonight's Love Island 2016.
After reducing new girl Tina to tears on her first day in the villa, Kady tried to build bridges with Tina yesterday.
"The thing with me is I don’t think before I speak. I am learning. The ‘c’ word, I don’t use in an angry way," Kady explained.
Tina wasn't exactly buying the explanation: “I know, the way it was shouted you can say it wasn’t a joke [but]…
“The way it was shouted at me was in a rude way, not in a funny way.”
Kady insisted: “When I do say sorry, I mean it. I don’t know whether we’re going to be best friends…
"When I’m not being a nutter. Hopefully you can see my nice side, I’m not evil. I am just a bit lippy. I’m just learning to control it a bit more.”
Reflecting on their chat in the Beach Hut, Kady said: “She is a nice girl. Maybe a bit more fiery than she makes out. I think she can stand her ground.
"If [Tina and Scott] want to talk, they can talk. I’m not that bloody crazy. But I’m not worried, I completely trust Scott.”
Tina admitted in the Beach Hut that she’d keep Kady at arm’s length: “I think I will keep my distance. You have to be careful of her; she’s just very different to me. I’m not very gobby and lippy in that way.
"She does have a nice side, she just needs to use that a bit more rather than the argumentative side. So 100% I’ll be wary of her.”
Love Island airs tonight at 9PM on ITV2.
