Terry Walsh and Malin Andersson enjoy some alone time on Love Island 2016 tonight.
But things aren't going so well for Tom Powell and Sophie Gradon who could be about to split having been together since Day 1.
Yesterday, when a surprise text allowed one couple to head into the Hideaway for the evening, the Islanders unanimously decided to let Terry and Malin have some time to themselves.
Meanwhile, Sophie was having doubts about her pairing with Tom.
She evaluated the relationship in the Beach Hut, saying: “With Tom, there is a massive, massive sexual attraction. Romantically and as boyfriend and girlfriend, I don’t know if we’re there yet, I don’t know if we ever will get there, but you know, like I say one step at a time.”
With the thought of a new arrival playing on his mind, Tom told the Beach Hut that he was worrying about where things stood with Sophie: “I’m not usually like this, I don’t usually get bothered by things, I’m not usually a worrier. I don’t get jealous. In here, over Sophie I seem to be getting worried all the time, jealous.
"She’s changed me, she’s genuinely changed me. I’m stressing, I’m genuinely stressing out. Soph didn’t help, she didn’t reassure me much that we’re going to be fine, we’re going to be safe. I’m worried. I’m actually scared. My heart’s going crazy man.”
In last night's highlights show we saw Tom push Sophie to speak about how close they were but she remained a closed book.
In another attempt to get Sophie to open up, Tom laid his feelings bare in the villa yesterday: “I’m genuinely scared, genuinely worried. I would like a bit of reassuring. You can see I’m scared, you can see I’m worried.
"And you’re just sat there in silence. That scares me the most. Do you know if you’d stood up and given me a hug and kiss and said ‘Tom you’ve got nothing to worry about’ it would have made me feel so much better.”
Sophie did nothing to alleviate his fears, telling him: “I’m sorry all I’m thinking about is I want another drink and I’m not really fussed about who comes in.”
She added: “Just because other couples are like bang in love and they’re already boyfriend and girlfriend, we’re not. You can’t put that on me. To be like them.”
The discussion continued, with Tom reacting: “I’m not saying be like them at all am I? Can’t you see I’m worried about it? All I really wanted was reassurance off you and that’s it. You say you’re worried about drink, just seems you’re more worried about that than me.”
Weighing up her relationship’s survival odds during a conversation with Daniel, Sophie admitted: “There’s warning signs there. I don’t like his moods. I walk on eggshells a lot with him. And I genuinely don’t think he’s the one for me. He just really p***ed me off tonight. We spent a close night together and then the next day he didn’t speak to me all day and it was just the worst time. And I thought ‘well if he’s doing this to me today, what’s it going to be like on the outside.’ I could actually cry now. Because I want to be here, I want to enjoy the experience.”
As she lay in bed with Tom that evening, Sophie revealed how she had some big decisions to make: “I’m just not happy. If I feel like this again tomorrow and again the next night, I do think I might just go.”
Tom was eager to dissuade her from leaving: “I don’t want you to go.”
Is one of the villa’s original pairings about to be parted?
