Tonight's Love Island 2016 on ITV2 will see the first elimination of the series as one boy gets the boot.
There's been less than a week since the launch and first coupling and we've had a pair of new additions since then.
In tonight's show, the islanders received a text to say that the first recoupling will happen that evening - the girls will choose a boy to couple with and the boy not chosen will be dumped from the island.
Unsure of who will be leaving the villa, Cara told the Beach Hut: “Zara is the woman in charge tonight, she’s got all the power in her hands. My thoughts on who she would choose have literally changed hour to hour. I wouldn’t want to be in her shoes bless her. Someone’s going to be the first person to go and it’s not very nice.”
Daniel became convinced he would be the one to leave: “I don’t think Zara will pick me because I’ve not tried to get to know her in the same way Javi has. He’s been in real survival mode trying to get someone to couple up with him. Zara’s the only girl I really want to get to know at the minute. If she doesn’t want to get to know me then I guess there’s no point in me being here.”
In a final plea to Zara, Javi begged: “I’m on your team, if you pick me I’m 100% on your team. There’s no bullsh*t. I’m literally praying, please just give me a chance. Please, trust me. Please give me a chance and get to know me. Please Zara, please.”
Daniel also made one final attempt to convince Zara: “I know you have passion and I know that you care. That really drew me to you. The first time I really wanted to get to know you was when you were upstairs and crying, because that really touched my heart. At the end of the day, I’m here to meet somebody. Out of everybody here, the person I want to get to know is you. If you didn’t pick me, then I’ll just go home.”
Confused and frustrated by the situation, Zara said: “I don’t want to be in this situation at all, I’m letting someone down and that’s going to be the worst thing in the world.”
The islanders gather round the fire pit to make their choices, but who will ultimately be unlucky in the game of love and be the first to leave the Love Island villa?
Love Island 2016 airs tonight at 9PM on ITV2.
