The couple won the most votes from the public via the free Love Island app to be crowned the top pairing from this year's series.
Ahead of tonight's Love Island final just four couples remained and the full results from tonight's final were announced in order by host Caroline Flack.
Here's just how tonight's Love Island results went down:
WINNERS: Max Morley and Jess Hayes
Runners up: Hannah Elizabeth and Jonathan Clarke
Third place: Lauren Richardson and Josh Ritchie
Fourth place: Luis Morrison and Cally Jane Beech
Max told Caroline: "Thank you so much, this girl deserves this, she's a superstar."
And for their victory they scooped an impressive prize of £50,000 to share between them... or so they thought
But then Caroline revealed a final twist as she handed both Jess and Max two love letters, one with Love on it, one with Money written on it.
The pair then each had to choose whether they were Love Island for Love or Money. If they both picked Love, they'd share the £50,000 prize equally. If they both picked Money neither would win anything. If one picked Love and one picked Money, the one who picked Money would win everything.
Max picked Love together with Jess, meaning the pair will each pocket £25,000 each.
Meanwhile, tonight's Love Island saw an actual PROPOSAL as Jon got down on one knee to pop the question to Hannah.
It was part of a mock wedding task but Jon's question of marriage was VERY real as he left the blonde beauty in tears and their fellow Love Islanders shocked.
And the good news it that Hannah said YES before the pair enjoyed an emotional kiss: "I will happily marry you tomorrow, I f**king love you to bits."
It's not yet clear if Love Island will be back for a new series next year.
