Comic Rowland Rivron has said he was shocked to have won Let's Dance for Sport Relief 2012, adding that his wife was more pleased than he was!
Rowland topped the viewer vote on Saturday night after performing to Fatboy Slim's Weapon Of Choice in the weekend's final.
But he was backing Eastenders duo Laurie Brett and Tameka Empson to take the trophy this year.
"Those two have their EastEnders fan base and are on TV all the time, whereas I'm on it hardly at all," he told The Sun today.
The 54-year-old also claimed that his wife was more pleased than he was over the win, after being booted out of Comic Relief does Fame Academy in 2007.
"My wife was very pleased that I won Let's Dance. Her nose had been put right out of joint when I was kicked off Comic Relief Does Fame Academy, but now it's been put right by this," he said.
Rowland will perform his routine again on Sport Relief this Friday on BBC One.
