Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards

Let's Dance for Sport Relief 2012 hopeful Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards has said he's loved being able to get back on stage.

The former dancer, turned famously flop Olympian, told The Sun ahead of tonight's Let's Dance 2012 final that he has enjoyed performing again.

Eddie, who will be performing to the Soul Bossa Nova by Quincy Jones from the Austin Powers movie tonight, told the newspaper: "I just enjoyed it so much. I used to dance years ago and it was great to get back up on the stage."

The 48-year-old famously finished last in the 1988 winter games, and revealed he hopes to return to the slopes again!

He explained: "I feel like I have unfinished business when it comes to ski-jumping. I still think while I am relatively young I can jump further than ever. I am still pretty fit and active.

"I am hoping to do some ski-jumping next winter in Slovenia, Poland and Norway. The last time I did it was ten years ago."

Let's Dance for Sport Relief 2012 airs tonight on BBC One at 7:10PM.
