Ant and Dec continued to dominate Saturday night TV last night, trouncing the final of Let's Dance for Comic Relief 2013.
The Geordie duo had 6.5 million viewers watching their latest episode of Saturday Night Takeaway, climbing to 6.7 million when those watching on ITV+1 are included.
Ant and Dec's show was the most watched programme of the day, peaking with over 7.7 million viewers at 8PM, beating the latest Six Nations rugby matches on BBC One earlier on in the evening and afternoon.
It saw the supposed-to-be climatic end of Let's Dance 2013 finish with more of a whimper than a bang, attracting just 4.55 million viewers, a figure more than two million viewers down on the launch show last month.
Antony Cotton was crowned the winner of the latest charity series, which has seen its lowest ratings ever.
Last night's show was the second least watched in the format's five year history, up 50,000 viewers on last weekend's all-time low.
From March 30 the battles between ITV and BBC will continue on Saturday nights, with the return of The Voice UK and Doctor Who going up against Ant and Dec.
However next month will see ITV hit back with Britain's Got Talent coming back to our screens.
