Jodie Prenger and Lee Nelson have become the final two stars to make this month’s Let’s Dance for Comic Relief 2013 final.
Jodie won the most viewer votes after the performances, meaning he went straight through to the final.
Lee then went up against Vanesa Feltz for the second spot.
Comic Lee Mack, ex Strictly judge Arlene Phillips and Radio 1 DJ Greg James made up the panel, with the trio deciding to back Jodie two votes to one.
Panellists Lee Mack and Arlene Phillips both voted for Lee Nelson giving him the majority vote and a place in the final alongside Jodie Prenger.
When announcing his decision. Lee Mack said: “Well it’s a very important thing we’re deciding that could change the face of the planet. Lee was brilliant. Vanessa was so brilliant I thought I was watching Cher. In fact I would go as far as to say it was Cher and Cher alike. If I have to give one of my votes, it’s a tight thing, but I’m going to go with Lee.”
Greg James said: “There’s so much going through my head…I know how popular Lee’s dance was in here and at home, but I can’t stop thinking about you Vanessa Feltz. I’m just trying to think about the one I want to see again…I’m going to go with Vanessa Feltz.”
Arlene Phillips said: “You are asking me to choose between channelling the 80s and a future contender for the Royal Ballet. Can’t I just have them both please? I’m edgy…and my edge is edging for Lee.”
Let’s Dance for Comic Relief 2013 will conclude next weekend on BBC with the final, which will have musical guests including Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars.
