Comedian Tim Vine and The Soap Stars have become the first two stars to make next month’s Let’s Dance for Sports Relief 2012 final.
Tim Vine won the most viewer votes after his performance to Justin Timberlake, meaning he went straight through to the final.
The Soap Stars - Dean Gaffney, Claire Sweeney, Natalie Cassidy and Ricky Groves - who had performed a number from musical Hair Spray then went up against Ricky Hatton for the second spot.
Mel Giedroyc, Bradley Walsh and Tameka Empson made up the panel, with the trio deciding to back the Soap Stars two votes to one.
Tameka said: "It's a hard one... I don't know... I love Ricky but I think I'm going with the soap stars."
Bradley said: "This is too hard... I loved them both so I'm going to even up and I'm going with Ricky."
With the casting vote, Mel said: "This is too stressful... I love Ricky, I love the soap stars, but it's the soap stars!"
The pair will be joined by the celebs who make it through in the upcoming four heats, with the likes of soap star Anthony Cotton and comedian Jon Culshaw in the upcoming line ups.
Let’s Dance for Comic Relief 2013 will continue next weekend on BBC, with musical guests including JLS and Katy Perry.
