Let It Shine: Bradley Johnson stuns Gary Barlow with Les Mis cover

Let It Shine

Bradley Johnson wowed the Let It Shine judges in tonight's final audition episode.

The 19-year-old previously appeared in a film with Colin Firth when he was younger but is now looking to focus on his music.

The Bradford based singer told the panel before his audition: "I've been singing since when I was 5, singing is my passion and it's something I'd love to do. "

After bonding with Gary Barlow over a good curry and joking his mum would be pleased for him to win the show in order to get him out of the house, Bradley got to singing.

He performed Bring Him Home from the musical Les Misérables to get a standing ovation from the audience.

Gary was definitely impressed.

He raved: "That song is very easy to over dramatise that song and you did it beautifully. You hit every single note with absolutely perfection. The control you have, it's fantastic.

"It's a pleasure to see and hear someone with an amazing instrument like that and make everyone's hair in the room stand on end. It was gorgeous."

Guest judge Amber Riley added: "You took me to heaven with that song."

Martin Kemp said Bradley Johnson had a "complete gift" while Dannii Minogue raved: "That was unbelievable. Often we say we're say happy for you, I'm happy for us that you came here."

All four judges awarded Bradley the maximum marks of 5 to give him a perfect total of 20 out of 20.

Also getting through to the next round on the show tonight were Scott Macaulay, Conor McLoughlin and Alexis Gerred.

Let It Shine continues next Saturday night on BBC One.
