Coronation Street actor Michael Le Vell has been rumoured to join I’m A Celebrity in 2018.
The Corrie star has been in the news this week amid reports he's been declared bankrupt.
Now it's said the TV favourite could end up on I'm A Celebrity in the autumn.
“It’s still early days for producers on I’m A Celeb, but Michael is a name they're looking at," a source said. “He’s obviously desperate for the cash, but like Amir Khan this year, he’ll have a cracking back story."
The insider told The Sun newspaper: “And they’ll pay big bucks for a proper Corrie legend who will no doubt reveal all about his woes on the show.
"He's been asked before but circumstances never made sense to do it. Now that could be different."
Michael could follow in the footsteps of Jennie McAlpine, who joined the show last year.
Meanwhile, The Saturdays' Frankie Bridge is another one of the early favourites to join the I'm A Celebrity 2018 line up.
The Saturdays singer has reportedly admitted she'd love to enter the jungle and the bookies are going 2/1 about her wish being granted.
Frankie is the latest name to be linked with a spell Down Under, alongside snooker player Ronnie O'Sullivan (3/1), winter Olympian Elise Christie (2/1), Strictly Come Dancing pro Brendan Cole (Evens) and James Stunt (10/1).
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "It looks as though the Bridges just can't get enough of the Jungle, with Frankie the latest name to be linked with a stint Down Under."
I'm A Celebrity will air on ITV in the autumn.
