Adam Thomas and Scarlett Moffatt put their fears of spiders and confined spaces to the test once more yesterday as they faced their last ever I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Bushtucker Trials.
As is tradition on the ITV jungle show, yesterday the three finalists faced separate Trials, each playing for a different course for their lavish last supper.
First up was Adam, who aimed to win the starters in his eleventh Trial - the classic 'Fill Your Face' challenge.
His head was sealed in a clear perspex helmet, which rangers gradually filled with creepy crawlies. Each minute he lasted would earn him part of his prize.
Adam was soon joined in the cage by 3,000 crickets, 3,000 cockroaches, ten burrowing cockroaches, ten scorpions and ten millipedes.
The last drop proved toughest for the arachnophobic Emmerdale actor, as 20 spiders began crawling around his head.
He squirmed and squealed through his final minute, but won all five stars - representing a starter for each campmate, plus a drink and an extra treat for him.
"It was so bad in there, I could hardly breathe," Adam told show hosts Ant and Dec. "I knew you were going to put spiders into the last Trial!"
After Joel Dommett brought the main course home from the Bushtucker Bonanza eating task, it was Scarlett's turn to be put through her paces.
In 'Cavern of Claws', she had five minutes to search a tiny cave for stars, while contending with critters.
Scarlett positive, joking: "I can feel myself getting upset, but if I can do this I might finally be able to go in lifts. I was on the 34th floor out here, and I walked the stairs because I can't stand small spaces!"
The Gogglebox favourite quickly found her first three stars, as the cavern filled with water, mealworms, cockroaches and crickets.
However, she began whimpering when rats invaded the space and started crawling over her body.
Scarlett persevered and eventually found all five stars, earning her three desserts, as well as her own drink and treat.
Once she was out of the cave, she vowed: "Never again will I feel fear like this. I'm so happy and excited for the banquet!"
