I'm A Celebrity 2016: Final six campmates turn their 'Jungle Tale' in to a musical

...but Joel Dommett isn't sure there's a "romantic undertone" between him and Carol Vorderman!

The I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! contestants put on their own jungle musical yesterday - and Joel Dommett was left wondering why he's seen as a love interest for Carol Vorderman!

In a campside challenge yesterday, the remaining six stars were instructed to put on a performance of 'A Jungle Tale' - complete with singing, rapping and at least one dance number.

They soon began planning out their story and proposing twists they could add in. "Someone gets killed at the end," suggested Martin Roberts.

"Er, no Martin, nobody is going to get killed," replied Joel.

History was rewritten so the latest eliminee, Larry Lamb, could be King of the Jungle. "Martin thinks he's going to win, and Larry comes back - perfect," smirked Adam Thomas.

However, Joel was confused about one aspect of the script - his sexual tension with the recently departed Carol Vorderman.

"Why is there a weird romantic undertone between me and Carol?" asked the comedian.

"Because there is a weird romantic undertone between you and Carol," joked Martin.

Scarlett Moffatt even cheekily suggested that Joel should share a kiss with Carol as the theme music to her old show Countdown played in the background.

After scoffing the dinner Adam won earlier in the day, it was time for the performers to grace the stage.

Joel and Adam pretended to be I'm A Celeb hosts Ant and Dec. The Emmerdale actor then recreated the scream-inducing moment he first encountered spiders in one of the Bushtucker Trials.

The show ended with the group coming together for their night at the Jungle Arms pub - and Wayne Bridge tried his hand at a rap, much to everyone else's delight.

I'm A Celebrity continues tomorrow at 9.30pm on ITV, with the grand final on Sunday at 9.00pm.
