Scarlett Moffatt bravely faced the latest I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Bushtucker Trial on her own - and ended up winning six out of seven meals.
After finding out the name of the latest Trial, ‘Critter Console’, the group agreed to let Scarlett do it - as she was desperate to prove she could do one of the terrifying challenges without company.
“Fingers crossed, toes crossed and eyeballs crossed I’m going to be good enough,” she said.
Scarlett arrived at a set resembling a giant computer game. Ant and Dec explained that she’d play four games with a jungle twist as she searched for the seven stars on offer.
First was ‘Hangry Birds’, which involved her removing toys from one ostrich’s neck and placing them on another.
“To make you feel at home, you’ll also be dressed as an ostrich,” teased Dec.
The cheeky duo took their seats to watch as Scarlett managed to retrieve one of the toys, but the other ostrich refused to let her put it around his neck.
She ran out of time and moved to game two, ‘Face Invaders’, which involved her putting her head in a box full of 2,000 cockroaches and 2,000 crickets.
The 26-year-old wasn't happy when she noticed Ant and Dec tucking in to some munchies from their comfy chairs. “Are you two eating crisps?! Seriously?!” she laughed.
Scarlett lasted two minutes in the box, earning her two stars. Next was ‘Grime Craft’, where she had to move two stars along a pole through three boxes.
Along the way she had to crawl through offal, meal worms, spiders, flies and a perentie lizard - but she successfully completed the task.
The final game was ‘Crokeman Go’. Again, Scarlett put her head in a tank, but this time it filled with water, spiders, eels and toads. She won another two stars by enduring it for two minutes.
Afterwards, the hosts congratulated the Gogglebox star for winning six meals - and said they felt weird watching her.
“It’s like the roles reversed and it’s us two sat down watching you on the box,” said Ant, with Dec joking: “We’re like Leon and June!”
Scarlett described the Trial as her “worst nightmare”, but her result was met with cheers by the other campmates.
