Larry Lamb has spoken about his lost daughter on I'm A Celebrity 2016.
The 69-year-old opened up to fellow camp mate Adam Thomas about about his daughter during an intimate chat about family.
Larry married aged 21 but the relationship fell apart shortly after his then wife became pregnant.
Following their split, Larry's ex-wife moved to Germany with their daughter Vanessa, who Larry has only met the once when she was months old.
Speaking previously about the relationship, Larry said (via the Daily Mirror): "[My ex-wife] remarried when Vanessa was three. So I wasn’t included because she had a stepdad. I don’t even know if she knows I’m her father...
"It’s not for me to go delving into her life. But the thought that she might have already made me a grandfather has often crossed my mind...
"Her birthday is so close to mine that every year I think, ‘She’s another year older.’ It’s just one of those sadnesses."
In the I'm a Celebrity camp yesterday there was talk of family which prompted Larry to open up about his daughter.
As Adam asked if Larry was a grandfather, he replied: “I might have. I don’t know. I’ve got a daughter you know, a long lost daughter so I might be.”
Adam quizzed: "Have you ever want to . . . ?”
“Yeah I always did. I always have but the point it that her and her mum broke up before she was born and then she was adopted but her mum’s new husband so I never had anything to do with her and you can’t just go bouncing back into someone’s life you know.
Adam asked if Larry knew if his estranged daughter was still in the UK.
“I’ve no idea’’ replied Larry. I’ve no idea at all where they are but I think about it a lot.”
I'm A Celebrity continues nightly on ITV.
