In the camp yesterday (Wedesday), the campmates discussed families and children when Ola confessed that she wanted to have children.
And while Scarlett Moffatt said she was keen for her own "tribute", Lisa Snowdon said that she didn’t think that she would want kids.
Jordan asked Ola if she wanted to have children. “I’d love to” she replied.
“Not now” said Lisa. “It’s a weird one because it’s so hard. I left it kind of late. I didn’t find anybody that I wanted to actually be with and I didn’t want to have kids to just …”
“… Have kids” finished Jordan.
“Yeah. I wanted that unit kind of thing."
Scarlett also said that she wanted to be a mother. “Oh yeah. I want my own little tribe definitely. I would like at least two kids because I was an only child because my little sister wasn’t born until I want 16 so I’d like them to have a couple of years between them so they have a play mate.”
Meanwhile Carol and Wayne sat up in the allotment. They discussed the campmates and said that them all being nice, made being away from friends and family easier.
Wayne said “Can you imagine if it wasn’t like this? I miss home enough as it is. If we didn’t get on as much as we did I think it would be ten times worse.” Carol asked him if he was missing his children. “Yeah loads. And Frank [Frankie Bridge, Wayne's wife]. I’ll probably break her ribs when I see her from squeezing her. I can’t wait.”
And later he said “You know the kids can make your head explode sometimes but I think coming in here has not made me appreciate them more but make me not have as many of those moments I hope.
Later Carol told the Bush Telegraph: “Maybe it’s an unexpected side to Wayne because people would see he’s an international footballer and obviously very very successful but he’s a lovely bloke. I can tell he absolutely worships his children too and it’s a really good message for people to hear.”
