Carol Vorderman, Adam Thomas and Joel Dommett won their terrifying I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 'Saviours Challenge' after walking a WOBBLY plank 334 feet above ground.
In the first twist, this year's line-up were split in to two groups: the 'City Celebs' and the 'Jungle Celebs'.
They both faced a 'Saviours Challenge', with each celeb competing to save a member of the opposite team from facing the first Bushtucker Trial.
As usual, the show kicked off at a luxury villa, and as the first five people to arrive, it was up to the City Celebs to decide who would play for whom. The pairings were as follows:
- Carol Vorderman (City) and Lisa Snowdon (Jungle)
- Jordan Banjo (City) and Scarlett Moffatt (Jungle)
- Joel Dommett (City) and Wayne Bridge (Jungle)
- Adam Thomas (City) and Larry Lamb (Jungle)
- Ola Jordan (City) and Sam Quek (Jungle)
Soon the City Celebs were whisked to the roof of a 32-storey hotel on Australia's Gold Coast for their challenge, which involved them walking a plank extending out from the building.
At the end, they had to wait for 60 seconds, before shouting 'time' to stop their clock. The three who called time closest to the 60 second mark would win and save their corresponding Jungle Celebs.
Needless to say, the campers weren't thrilled to see the plank, which was suspended 334 feet in the air.
"Oh my God, it’s so much worse than I thought," said Jordan, while Ola lamented: "I’m terrified, I don’t know if I’ll be able to do this."
The challenge only became more daunting when they discovered that the plank wasn't fixed in place. "It wobbles so much," shrieked Joel, who has a fear of heights.
Eventually their ordeal was over and hosts Ant and Dec revealed the results. Carol finished in first place with a score of 61 seconds.
"I told you she was good with numbers," joked Ant about the former Countdown presenter.
Adam came second at 64 seconds, and Joel's effort wasn't in vain, as he came third at 67 seconds. Therefore, Lisa, Larry and Wayne were all saved from the Bushtucker Trial.
"I hope Wayne can save me, so I haven't just walked a plank and then have to do a Bushtucker Trial too – that would be the worst two days of my life," joked Joel.
