The cast of families that feature in the Channel 4 show are said to be unhappy at Scarlett's supposed 'VIP treatment'.
It's after she was confirmed as one of this year's I'm A Celebrity contestants despite other stars being restricted from such appearances.
And it's been claimed that Scarlett will return to Gogglebox after her stint in the jungle, again angering those still on the show.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Since day one of the show, all the families have been allowed to do minimal media appearances and interviews to remain as relatable as possible – which is why you rarely read about the other families.
“Now Scarlett has her radio show, a book, the fitness DVD, her own management and now her I’m A Celebrity appearance, they feel bosses think the show won’t work without her so are going against all their own rules to keep her happy.”
The insider claimed that some Gogglebox stars were particularly unhappy with Scarlett's 'VIP treatment' as she had only been a member of the cast from the third series.
A spokesperson for Channel 4 played down the claims in a statement to DigitalSpy, saying: "All the cast are thrilled for Scarlett and wish her all the best in the jungle."
Last night an audience of 10.7 million viewers watched as Scarlett made her way into the I'm A Celebrity camp alongside nine other celebs.
The show continues nightly on ITV while the new series of Gogglebox - minus Scarlett - returns soon to Channel 4.
