I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 2016 campmate Adam Thomas has admitted he's PETRIFIED of spiders.
The Emmerdale and Waterloo Road actor says he's had hypnotherapy in preparation for his arrival in the Australian jungle - but it's so far proved unsuccessful.
"I am scared pretty much of everything," he said. "Especially spiders and it’s why I went to get hypnotised the other day. I have had two sessions now but I am still scared of spiders!
"I tend to run away from them or wake my fiancée up to get rid of them. I’ve never faced a spider head on, which is why I want to do this show. I want to face up to my fears and there is no better place to do this."
Despite his brave vow, it seems the 28-year-old is already regretting his confession - as he reckons he'll now be locked in a coffin full of the eight-legged critters.
"Show bosses will probably do that now!" he laughed. "But it’s going to be nice to put myself out there.
"Nobody knows me other than the character I play. Hopefully people will like me more than my character."
Adam added that his Emmerdale co-stars have already been cheering him on.
"They are all up for it and they want me to do it," he says. "It would be amazing to win, who doesn’t want to win?"
The identities of the first ten of this year's I'm A Celebrity contestants were confirmed last night. Names joining Adam include TV presenter Carol Vorderman, Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt and ex-footballer Wayne Bridge.
The new series kicks off this Sunday at 9.00pm on ITV.
