Charlotte Crosby has angered fans after lying about joining the I'm A Celebrity 2016 cast.
Although celebs are meant to keep quiet about their participation, Charlotte declared tonight she would be appearing in the new series after quitting Geordie Shore.
Charlotte tweeted this evening: "Yep I am going on @imacelebrity I can't wait so excited man"
The reality star previously said she'd love to take part in the ITV series and follow in the footsteps of her former co-star and last year's winner Vicky Pattison.
“Something along the lines of that would be absolutely amazing,” she told OK! back in June. “I don't think I'd do as well in the tasks as what Vicky did man.
“Like I couldn't be travelling over them snakes as if it's just a b****y stick – I’d be full on screaming.”
However it turned out to just be a bit of desperate attention seeking.
Charlotte later followed her original tweet up by writing: "That was a joke btw."
While many were angry with the 'joke', one fan suggested: "maybe they just told her she wasn't allowed to reveal it yet"
Jokes aside, officially ITV aren't confirming any names for the I'm A Celebrity line up officially just yet.
But there have been a load of rumours.
Actor Larry Lamb, and TV presenter Carol Vorderman is also both said to have been offered a 'six figure deal' to take part.
Carol said this week: "I can neither confirm nor deny whether I'm going into the jungle," so read into that what you will...
More names linked to the I'm A Celebrity 2016 line up include Craig Charles, who appeared briefly in a previous series, Gogglebox's Scarlett Moffatt and ex footballer turned pundit Robbie Savage.
Ex Strictly pros Aliona Vilani and Ola Jordan have also been tipped to take part, although the rumours suggest only ONE of them will be invited along.
More rumoured celebrities include Olympian Sam Quek, Absolutely Fabulous' Helen Lederer and a range of soap stars including Neighbours' Olympia Valance and Emmerdale's Fiona Wade and Adam Thomas.
I'm A Celebrity 2016 will start on ITV next month.
