TV presenter Carol Vorderman has spoken out about THOSE rumours of her joining I'm A Celebrity.
It was previously reported that Carol could be on this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 2016 line up.
According to The Sun, ITV bosses have offered her a six-figure pay cheque.
They apparently hope she'll draw older male viewers to the show, with a source explaining: "She is well-known and still carries a lot of sex appeal.
"ITV chiefs are also hoping that she will be the brains of the camp. She’s a TV legend and they’re prepared to splash the cash to land her."
Maths whizz Carol is best known as the former co-host of Countdown. She took care of the numbers and letters on the Channel 4 gameshow for 26 years before being replaced by Rachel Riley in 2008.
She was also a regular presenter on ITV's Loose Women between 2011 and 2014, and fronted Simon Cowell's ill-fated cookery show Food Glorious Food. Earlier this year she beat Martin Kemp on Channel 5's Lip Sync Battle UK.
Now Carol has spilled on the truth on the rumours and said... well, pretty much nothing either way.
Which to us hints that they're probably true.
Carole told OK! magazine (via List): "I can neither confirm nor deny whether I'm going into the jungle."
She added: "What I will say is that I like the show. I think it's the funniest thing on TV."
Carol quipped that animals' genitals was "right at the top" of her list, saying: "Oh yes, eating all those disgusting things is right at the top of my list."
So we'll still have to wait and see if Carol does end up in camp this year, but we think it's very likely...
I'm A Celebrity will air on ITV in November.
