Make-A-Wish® UK is the new beneficiary charity for ITV’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.
ITV’s toughest entertainment show returns to TV screens this November and 15p from every phone vote will be donated to the charity.
Make A Wish UK helps to grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions.
This is the first time I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here and Make-A-Wish UK have joined forces to help raise funds for truly deserving children. Every year thousands of seriously ill children turn to Make-A-Wish to have their one true wish granted and Make-A-Wish delves into their imaginations to discover their wish and grant it in the most magical and life-changing way possible.
A child’s wish can range from flying around the room like their favourite superhero, meeting a lifetime hero or even walking with dinosaurs. Since 1986 Make-A-Wish, with the help of its #WishMaker supporters, has turned the wishes of over 10,000 desperately ill children into magical realities – improving their quality of lives by providing hope for the future, strength to fight their condition and happiness beyond the daily realities of treatment.
The celebrities will face gruelling Bushtucker Trials and confront their fears amidst intense rivalry to be crowned Jungle King or Queen. They are, however, united in their support for this special and much-loved charity and will compete in the knowledge that 15p from every phone vote will add up to make a big difference.
