First I'm A Celebrity teaser revealed but when does it start?

When does I'm A Celebrity 2016 start on TV?

I'm A Celebrity 2018 line up

The very first I'm A Celebrity 2016 teaser has been revealed ahead of the show's start date.

ITV yesterday posted a not-so-cryptic image on Twitter from the I'm A Celebrity jungle camp.

They captioned the snap: "We're getting ready to jungle! Coming soon... #ImACeleb @antanddec"

So when does I'm A Celebrity begin on TV?

We know that Ant and Dec will return to our TVs in 2016 with what will be the sixteenth(!) series of I'm A Celebrity in November.

The precise launch date hasn't been confirmed just yet but based on most of the recent series, which have launched on the second Sunday of the month, November 13 would look the most likely return date for I'm A Celeb.

Who's on I'm A Celebrity 2016?

Names linked to the new series include Ex-countdown presenter turned Loose Women panellist Carol Vorderman, TV and radio presenter Lisa Snowdon, American actress Ayda Field and ex Strictly pros Aliona Vilani and Ola Jordan.

More rumoured campers are Craig Charles, who appeared briefly in a previous series, Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding, Gogglebox's Scarlett Moffatt and footballer Robbie Savage.

Further potential celebrities on the cast include Absolutely Fabulous' Helen Lederer and a range of soap stars including Neighbours' Olympia Valance and Emmerdale's Fiona Wade and Adam Thomas.

And there are also a number of Olympians tipped to take part including boxer Nicola Adams, gymnast Louis Smith and hockey player Maddie Hinch.

Meanwhile, it's been claimed that ITV have 'banned' reality stars from the new I'm A Celebrity line up.

It's been suggested that producers want more "credible" names for this autumn's show.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “This year I’m A Celeb . . . wants to go back to its roots by signing up more cult favourites from the past and current, newsworthy personnel.

"The last series got a ribbing for having so many reality show stars and giving them lots of camera time."
