Hotel strike argument has the stars at loggerheads

Lady Colin Campbell has become enemy number one on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! following the row over Tony Hadley's hotel strike - with even a tearful Jorgie Porter saying she's "really disappointed" in her.

The camp descended in to chaos yesterday after Lady C, Chris Eubank and Kieron Dyer returned from their stay at the jungle hotel, and hit out at Jorgie and Tony for refusing to become its staff members.

Kieron suggested that the duo would happily have served other campmates, while Lady C called them "tossers" and clashed with an angry Brian Friedman.

The fallout continued when Duncan Bannatyne commented that he'd like to do a Bushtucker Trial, and Lady C retorted: "That’s part of the problem, you are desperate for the limelight you vain old goat."

"Ooooooh, that’s a Lady talking," teased Duncan.

"You’ve obviously never come across a Lady, that’s how Ladies talk," she claimed.

The exchange ironically made the aristocrat the centre of attention as the celebs lined up to criticise her, with an unusually frustrated Yvette Fielding ranting: "Shut up! You're a rude horrible woman at the moment and you have a nasty energy. We are all sick of hearing your voice."

Lady C begun to respond, but the group chanted "la la" to drown her out.

"Shout me down, shout me down. What I resent is that when I try and say something I’m shouted down, including by women,” she said.

Yvette continued: "There is no need for rudeness, it’s such a shame because you ruin yourself by being so rude and there is no excuse for it."

Lady C's sparring partner Brian chipped in again, branding her "bitchy" - but she wasn't bothered by the "motor mouth piece of crap": "I’m bitchy when I’m speaking the truth about a bitch, and you are a bitch."

Perhaps the most striking criticism came from Jorgie herself, who had made Lady C her deputy during her spell as camp leader.

"I really liked and respected you Lady C, I had so much respect for you," sniffed the Hollyoaks star. "All I’ve said is nice things about you and I’m really disappointed."

"You’re disappointed? Well I’m disappointed in you my dear," said a nonplussed Lady C. "You have no idea how I have been trying to promote you to the public."

The drama eventually begun to die down, but not before Yvette vented her anger to Duncan and Tony.

"That woman must have been bitten by a vampire as a kid," she fumed. "I hope she’s first out. I’ve held it in so long but it’s coming out now. I really want to wipe the floor with her, there is no need for it."

Later in the Bush Telegraph, the Most Haunted presenter observed: "There is a split down the middle of the camp - you’ve got Kieron and Chris and Lady C, and then there is the rest of us."
