I'm A Celebrity's Tinchy Stryder reckons going onto the reality telly show won't harm his career.
The rapper reckons that the jungle is a "cool" place to be.
Quizzed on why he decided to take part in the new series, Tinchy said: “I want to be honest with you. I like challenges. I like doing things you don’t expect from me. It’s going to be really nice for people to see me as me.
“I know people will go ‘you are cool’. But doing this doesn’t mean you are not cool. I do think the jungle is cool. I don’t like to be boxed. I am so excited to be going in the jungle. You have to live and you only live once.”
The singer - who boats 5 top 10 singles, including two Number 1s - admitted that going without music in the camp will be the hardest thing to overcome.
He explained: “I listen to my music all the time. As soon as I wake up, I am listening to music. I listen to it all day. Now I can’t and that is going to be weird. I have never had a day when I haven’t listened to it. I can’t imagine going a day without any and it will be challenging for me."
But don't expect a sing song around the camp fire from the 28-year-old who added: “I don’t want to be just the entertainer. I like to socialise. I am chilled out and I am not stuck up as a person.
"For me, going in the jungle will all be about the energy. And if someone says to the left, then maybe I will go to the right!”
