The comic has seen a career revival with his own Channel 5 show and offers for more programmes flooding in.
And yesterday Jim hinted that a spot in the I'm A Celebrity 2014 line up could be next, saying he wanted to "go for the double."
The stand up tweeted: "Think I’ll go for the double and do the jungle! What d’yer think?”
A supposed 'telly insider' told the Daily Star newspaper today: “It seems Jim has got a taste for reality TV.
“Sitting around in a house is one thing but roughing it in the jungle is a different challenge.
“It would certainly be interesting to see how he copes and whether he could ruffle a few feathers in camp.”
However in a separate article in The Sun today, Jim reveals other plans include a return for his snooker-themed show Big Break, which had originally aired on Saturday nights between 1991 and 2002 on BBC One.
Jim told the newspaper: “Channel 5 are keen to work with me and build on the success of Big Brother. We are discussing a couple of formats. The favourite is Big Break and I’d be up for that.”
