The 33-year-old was interviewed by show presenters Ant and Dec before they announced that he'd won the series, with David Emanuel finishing as runner-up.
"I've made such amazing friends, it's an experience that will be with all of us forever," said Kian. Addressing the Geordie duo, he joked: "It is genuinely something that you'll never forget. I'd highly recommend it to anyone, including you two!"
Kian was quizzed on his success in the Bushtucker Trials - including the last one, Final Feast, which saw him noshing on a variety of jungle delicacies.
"I had never gagged until that. All the other trials I was properly mentally prepared for, but the eating one I was genuinely not looking forward to," he said.
"The fish eye was the worst thing I've ever encountered. Put that in your mouth, bite down on it, and the goo goes everywhere in an instant. It's really thick and slimy, and you're like, I have to swallow this?
"Absolutely that was the worst trial for me, everything else was mind over matter, get the job done."
The Irishman also spoke about his unexpected role as the camp chef, recalling: "I just do a little bit of normal everyday domestic cooking, I had no intention of being the cook in any way.
"But then I started doing it, I did the sausages, it was easy, then it just escalated. When the possum was brought out… it stank, open up that box we keep everything in and it still stinks."
I’m A Celebrity 2013 concludes on Tuesday at 8.00pm on ITV with the ‘Coming Out’ episode, which follows this year’s contestants as they return to civilisation.
