Presenters Ant and Dec announced during tonight's live grand final that viewers chose the 33-year-old Irishman to succeed Charlie Brooks as the show's new 'King of the Jungle'.
Kian was applaused by the crew and the rest of this year's contestants after the result was revealed, while David congratulated him with a hug.
"Honestly, I don't know what to say," he commented. "Everyone here deserves to be in this chair because it was such a team effort, none of us would have got through us without each other.
"Everybody here is a king and queen, there's nothing else to it for me."
Meanwhile, David said: "I'm thrilled, I'm thrilled for Kian, he's a great guy, he thoroughly deserves it."
After Kian took a seat in his wooden throne, Brooks made a guest appearance to toast his success and crown him with a leafy wreath.
I'm A Celebrity is set to return for a fourteenth series in 2014, following its record launch ratings this year.
The current run ends on Tuesday at 8.00pm on ITV with 'I'm A Celebrity: Coming Out', the usual hour-long special documenting the contestants as they return to the outside world.
