The group was told that ten wooden phones had been hidden in camp, each bearing a phone number. It was their job to find the phones and call the numbers to see if they could reach their loved ones.
However, five of the phones had invalid numbers - while they would all be disconnected after ten minutes.
Kian was the first to find one of the handsets, which connected him to Joey Essex's dad Donald. The TOWIE star rushed over to take the call, with Donald gushing: "We’re all really, really proud of you. We all love you."
As they continued to find phones, David Emanuel heard from his sister Margaret - who told him that 'everything's perfect' - while Amy Willerton's mum told her: "I miss you, I can’t wait to see you."
Lucy Pargeter also got to to speak to her fiancée Rudi. "Everything’s cool. We’re so proud of you," he said.
With two more phones left to find, everyone rushed around to try and get Kian his call - until their time limit unfortunately ran out.
But the Westlife singer insisted he was alright, having previously talked with his wife Jodi in person during his luxury 'holiday' out of the jungle.
"I’m the only person here, still left, that got to see their loved one in the time I’ve been here," he reasoned. "I’ve had much more than a phone call so I’m really happy for you guys and that’s all that matters."
