Axed I'm A Celeb contestant Matthew Wright has claimed that the ITV show is fixed for Joey Essex to win.
The Channel 5 chat show host as booted out of the series earlier this week in a double elimination alongside Vincent Simone.
Speaking after his exit, Matthew has claimed that bosses are giving Joey "special treatment".
“It’s all about Joey. It feels like that in the camp," he said. “We’ve had three weeks of ‘all about Joey’, which gets quite boring. Every question I was asked was about Joey. If it was ‘How was your dinner?’ the next question was ‘How was Joey’s dinner?’.
“It was pretty obvious and I felt sorry for Kian. It feels like Joey is pre-destined to be a finalist, whereas Kian has to fight his way there. Ultimately, I think that everybody would benefit from Kian as the winner."
Matthew insisted he did love "gorgeous human being" Joey, but accused ITV of promoting their own interests with the TOWIE star.
He said: “You could see he was being given special treatment. We were only allowed a few towels, but he had as many as he liked. He seemed to be able to ask for them from producers whenever he felt like it and they just dealt them out.”
Speaking to The Sun newspaper today, Matthew added: “The fact is that the odds are tipped against you. They were tipped in favour of Joey from the start. He is only famous because of an ITV2 show so this is a great opportunity for them to cash in on the home-grown talent.”
Joey remains the odds-on favourite to win the show in next week's final, with Westlife's Kian a close second in the odds.
I'm A Celebrity continues tonight on ITV from 8:30PM.
