Matthew Wright has hit back at claims suggesting that Amy Willerton was being bullied on I'm A Celebrity 2013.

The Channel 5 chat show host was booted out of the show last night in a double eviction alongside Vincent Simone.

Speaking about tensions in camp in an interview on This Morning today, Matthew claimed: "I do think, I don’t know whether it came across on the show, but I think we were probably the best and friendliest grow that’s happened in I’m A Celebrity’s 13 year history.”

He explained: “It’s been amazing how the team pulled together.

"You hear a lot about the arguments and the rows but if you added all the rows and arguments – not just mine, but everybody’s harsh words – together, you would struggle to come up with ten minutes out of 21, 24 hour days. I have more arguments with myself at home, truly.”

Meanwhile, Vincent said that even his short stay in the jungle had helped him learn more about himself.

He explained: “I learned so much about myself, I am loving myself even more now, which I didn’t think could happen. I have made so many friends and I am going to have so much fun from now on.”

The ex-Strictly pro, who entered last week alongside Annabel Giles, added: “Each one of us, you get to the stage where you start to struggle a little bit.

"I was trying to be between the two, I would have been happy to stay or go. I went and now I can eat as much as I want. I lost one stone.”

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here airs tonight from 8:30PM with the latest live elimination.
