Alfonso Riberio cleared the air with Matthew Wright yesterday following their argument in the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here camp.
The journalist previously found himself on the receiving end of a rant after he corrected the Fresh Prince of Bel Air star's use of the word 'maximum', pointing out that he should have said 'minimum'.
Alfonso vowed that he wouldn't make up with Matthew - however, after sleeping on the issue overnight he decided it'd be best to ease tensions for the sake of the camp.
“I’m sorry that I blew up the way I did,” Alfonso said to Matthew.
“You’re a top man but I have to say, I don’t think you’re going home soon,” replied Matthew. “I know, but I can hope,” said Alfonso.
Meanwhile, Steve asked Matthew: “Did you have a dream that you were going to wake up and not argue with anybody today?”
“No. Do you ever dream about not winding people up,” Matthew responded to Steve. “Is it pick on Matthew day today?”
However, Alfonso later clarified in the Bush Telegraph: "It wasn't necessarily an apology, it was a discussion of clearing the air, so we could understand where each other's coming from."
I'm A Celebrity continues daily on ITV, with the first elimination expected to take place tomorrow.
