Since their arrival in camp, the stars have been eyeing up the treehouse, which has so far been shut off from access.
However, as newcomers Annabel Giles and Vincent Simone joined the line-up, they accurately suggested that the treehouse would be opened to accommodate them.
"There’s two flat beds in it," Matthew Wright commented. "We’re currently eleven people, soon to be twelve and it’s pretty obvious that two people are going to have to go into the treehouse."
Sure enough, a message was delivered asking the group to decide who would make use of the cabin - and Amy and Joey were immediately suggested.
"You’ll gallop up there," said Laila Morse, adding later: "I ain’t sleeping up there so I ain’t bothered."
"Two young, good-looking people trapped in a jungle, starving for each other and possibly for food..." grinned Matthew.
With no objection, the two youngsters took up residence in the treehouse, and Joey exclaimed: "I’m in my element. This is like a dream. It’s a real treehouse in a real jungle. It’s like my ultimate dream. It’s like Christmas.”
Afterwards, Rebecca Adlington mused: "It kind of made sense that Joey and Amy would go up there and spend the night together in their own little love pad.”
Vincent and Annabel are now settling in, with the latter having had to be rescued from a cell by Joey and Alfonso Riberio before entering the camp.
