I'm A Celebrity 2013 can't begin quickly enough for Laura Whitmore, who wants to return to the jungle right now!
The telly host fronts the ITV2 spin off Get Me Out Of Here Now alongside Joe Swash, and hopes to be back for a third series this autumn.
“I miss Australia — the last series of I’m A Celebrity was brilliant. I definitely want to go back this year and things are looking good at the moment," Laura said today. “I saw Ant and Dec and the producers recently, and we were all reminiscing. Because you see the same people all the time out there it becomes like a family.”
There's already been a few names linked to the show, including Rylan Clark and even Michael Owen.
But Laura revels: “I’ve heard a few times that Gazza could be on the show so maybe he will.
"That will definitely get column inches, as I’m sure he’ll be pretty controversial. I don’t know how nice he’ll be or how good at challenges, but I’d like to see him in there.”
Meanwhile, Laura told The Sun that she wasn't interested in following Caroline Flack from the jungle to the Xtra Factor this year after Olly Murs quit.
She said: “I get asked about X Factor quite a lot, but I just want to get back to Australia at the moment — I don’t think I’m ready to give that up just yet.”
She added: “I saw Olly this week and I told him I’ll be sad to see him leave, but he feels his music is doing so well that he can’t [stay]. As far as I know Caroline is doing it again, which is good because she’s brilliant at it.”
