Five time darts champion Eric Bristow is the eighth person to be booted out of the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here 2012 jungle.
Having survived several previous eliminations, the 55-year-old was finally given the axed after facing Charlie Brooks in tonight's bottom two.
"It's great I'm out but I would have liked to have made the last three," Eric told Ant and Dec in his live interview. "I wanted a go at the grubs and that. That's what I wanted for the kids."
The Geordie duo mentioned his uncanny eviction predictions, and revealed that Eric had himself as the pick to go just moments before his exit.
"I think David will win it," he suggested. "It'll get down to the grubs and I don't think the girls won't eat as many grubs. That might swing it. What I'll do now is I'll go out and have a bet, and I'll lose!"
Speaking about his straight-talking nature - which didn't go down too well with some, including Helen Flanagan - Eric explained: "I tell the truth, whether it hurts or not. You've got to have a good memory to lie. I don't!
"I just tell the truth and take it as it comes. I'll always be the same, that's me. People know I either like them if I don't. If I don't like them I won't talk to them."
Eric also commented on Helen's early Bushtucker Trial failures.
"It was bad, cause we're not eating. It was alright the first couple of times, but after that it's not funny any more," he said. "In the end she overcame it and came back with twelve, but later on, David did the same trial that she did.
"He said the first six were easy, apart from the one where you had to pull up the dead meat. She just panicked too early I think."
The final elimination will take place in tomorrow's episode at 9.00pm on ITV1, ahead of the grand final on Saturday.
