I'm A Celebrity 2012 star Brian Conley has assured fans he's on "top form" after leaving the show and being taken to hospital.
The comic collapsed and was rushed to hospital after falling ill in the jungle, it’s been revealed.
It was announced at the top of Monday night’s programme that Brian had quit the show due to medical reasons.
An ITV spokesman confirmed: “Brian Conley has left the jungle for medical reasons.”
But they added that no more details would be provided “for reasons of confidentiality”.
Fortunately Brian only had to spend a day in hospital to recover.
His agent said in a statement: “We can confirm Brian Conley has been discharged from hospital and is delighted to be back with his family recuperating.
“He would like to thank everyone for their kind wishes and concern.”
Brian released a new statement after last night's latest show, saying: "I want everyone to know that I'm back on top form, fighting fit and delighted to be back with my family.
"I've read all the messages sent to my Twitter account and have been genuinely touched by all the kind words and good wishes."
He added: "I really want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I'll be back soon making you all laugh."
Brian entered the jungle on launch night and lasted ten days in the jungle.
