I'm A Celebrity 2012 star Helen Flanagan had counseling in the jungle to help her with the bushtucker trials.
Helen was voted for seven of the eight challenges this year, but brought home absolutely no stars from the first five.
Only after being talked to by a psychologist did Helen manage to get over her nerves and win, shocking both viewers and hosts Ant and Dec.
However the Daily Star report today that Helen was given counseling by the show's medical team to help her overcome her fears.
A source told the newspaper this morning: “Sandra [the psychologist] should get 12 stars! Her session was pretty intense but it worked.
“Helen was told to think of the good things in her life like Scott and her family and just go for it and think how proud they’d be."
The source added: “She was reminded that others were relying on her for food and if she showed courage, they and TV viewers would have more respect.”
Some viewers had claimed that Helen's original nerves had been faked, following her dramatic turn around at the weekend.
But I'm A Celebrity co-host Ant said: “I don’t think it’s an act. She turned a corner and there was a definite change in her personality.”
