The eighties' pop star admits he is going to have a tough time in the jungle because he is scared of 'everything and anything' you could possible face up to in the wilds.
But the former lead singer of Kajagoogoo has not had any therapy nor has he been hypnotised to combat his fears because he is even frightened of 'letting someone else take control'.
Limahl also confessed he was going to miss much of his tech in the jungle.
He said: "I am going to miss my power shower in the morning, my hairdryer, my microwave porridge, honey, my 42 inch plasma TV, my gadgets, my laptop, my MP3 player, all the usual home comforts. I am sorry to say this but it's a never-ending list!
"But I do think this is such a challenge, both physically and mentally, that I wanted to have a go. I live in a jungle in London and this is a different kind of jungle. I can't compare it to anything I have done before. And yet if my own heroes and heroines, Christopher Biggins, Toyah Wilcox and Sheila Ferguson, can do it, then so can I."
