The hunky boxer has worked for years to get himself into shape, and wants to make sure he keeps it that way!
Bosses have provided this year's celebs with a full equipped gym in their camp, but the lack of food didn't make David happy.
And this was before he knew Helen Flanagan would be doing all of the bushtucker trials!
The Daily Mail report today that David had tried to smuggle in protein shakes to keep his weight up.
A source told the newspaper: "David’s team want him to prepare to fight again as soon as he leaves so they got him to try to take the shakes in so he doesn’t lose too much weight. It wasn’t allowed."
Unfortunately for David, it doesn't like he'll have a chance of a good meal for a while yet.
Tonight's show will see the first live trial of the series, and Helen Flanagan is favourite to be voted to take part by the pubic.
The challenge will see one of the contestants attempt to collect as many meals as they can for their campmates – with the pressure of the real-time broadcast giving them little time to prepare for whatever horrors they must face.
However, unlike the normal challenges, the other campmates will be present to watch the events unfold and cheer them on.
Hosts Ant and Dec announced the news just moments after revealing that Helen Flanagan will also face her sixth trial, ‘Deadly Delivery’.
The results of that and the live trial will air tonight from 9PM on ITV1.
