I'm A Celebrity 2012: David Haye is highest paid celeb

I'm A Celebrity 2012 - David Haye

David Haye is the highest paid celeb in I'm A Celebrity 2012 this year, it's been revealed.

The boxer has reportedly picked up the biggest fee of this year's line up, bagging himself a cool £165,000 to take part in the three week long series.

The former WBA world heavyweight champion’s fee is a whopping £100,000 more than the other celebs are picking up for their stint in the bush.

The Daily Star report that the figure is more than £100,000 greater than the usual £60,000 fee offered to contestants who are taking part in the show.

The tabloid reveals that David and his team had originally asked for even more, asking for three times the usual fee.

An insider told the Daily Star Sunday today: “David Haye is a big name and a big character and he doesn’t come cheap.

“Show bosses were desperate to have him on board so they caved in to his massive pay demands.”
