Following his success in the London 2012 games, offers for reality shows came flooding in to Louis, who decided to go for Strictly Come Dancing.
The reason? “That was the one that came in first," he tells The Sun today.
He explained: “I haven’t retired from gymnastics but I needed a break after the Olympics. So when Strictly made me an offer straight after the Games, I accepted."
The hunky performer revealed he had also been invited to take part on I'm A Celebrity and Dancing On Ice, both of which return in the next few months.
"I also thought I’d be good at Dancing On Ice because I skated a lot when I was younger," Louis told the newspaper today.
He continued: “I would have been good TV in the jungle (on I’m A Celebrity) because I’m the biggest girl when it comes to any kind of bugs, especially moths and spiders.
“I’m sure people would have loved to see me scream my head off. But the bosses would have had to offer a lot of money to get me to Australia.”
