The Great British Bake Off 2019 is back tonight and here are some first spoilers from the latest episode.
This year sees Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood return as judges of The Great British Bake Off airing Tuesday nights on Channel 4.
Prue and Paul will be joined by GBBO hosts Sandi Toksvig OBE and Noel Fielding for their third series together.
As always, they'll be ready with a pertinent pep talk, a helpful hand or just a sympathetic shoulder to cry on, for the ninth series overall of the cooking competition.
This year has welcomed 13 of the best amateur bakers in Britain start on their journey to whisk, knead, ice, beat and bake their way through classic British cakes, perfect patisserie, Danish delights, sticky caramel constructions and elaborate layered puddings.
In order to take the Bake Off Crown, they must master 30 challenges carefully designed by judges Paul and Prue to test their limits.
Last week's episode saw Amelia Le Bruin become the latest baker to be sent home after Bread week, while Michael Chakraverty won the week's Star Baker award.
Tonight, it's week four and the remaining 10 bakers face a Bake Off first - Dairy week!
Prue and Paul have set three tricky challenges to test the remaining bakers.
There is a decorative Signature that involves a tricky turn-out and a complex Technical that dates back to Henry VIII.
Then last, but by no means least, an intricate Showstopper usually found at the centre of Indian weddings and celebrations.
Which bakers will impress Prue and Paul enough to keep their place in the tent. And who will be heading home?
Great British Bake Off 2019 airs tonight at 8PM on Channel 4.
Meanwhile, The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice returns with Jo Brand, airing on Friday nights on Channel 4.
