Great British Bake Off spoilers: Who will make the final tonight?

Bake off

The Great British Bake Off continues tonight with the Semi Finals.

It's the penultimate show of the series and the pressure is on as the contestants bid for a place in the grand final.

After last week's first ever Danish theme, it's back to a Bake Off classic in the tent tonight as the bakers tackle patisserie week.

With four remaining bakers just three challenges away from the biggest day in their baking lives, who has the skill to reach the Bake Off final? And who will fall at the final hurdle?

Judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith are back to set the tasks, past judgement and ultimately decide who's deserving of a spot in the last round.

Patisserie begins with the a deceptively simple Signature challenge in which Paul and Prue are looking for perfection from the contestants' creations.

Next, the heat is on with Prue's complex, multi-layered Technical.

And finally, the semi-finalists feel the pressure when they're asked to create a spectacular Showstopper that could grace a Parisian patisserie.

Currently there are four bakers left in the competition: They are 33-year-old Briony from Bristol, 27-year-old Kim-Joy from Leeds, 30-year-old Rahul from Rotherham, and 29-year-old Ruby from London.

26-year-old Manon from London became the latest to leave the tent in last week's show.

The three bakers who make it through this evening will go forward to next week's grand final where Paul and Prue set three challenges that will test every aspect of the bakers' skills.

As always, the final will also see all this year's bakers reunite alongside the finalists' families outside the tent, as the winner is crowned.

Currently Rahul is the favourite to win the series, with Ruby and Briony tipped to join him in the final.

Grace Doubleday of bookmakers Ladbrokes said: "Rahul narrowly escaped elimination during Danish week, but despite this he's still a firm favourite with fans, and it's now a two-horse race between him and Ruby to be crowned as this year's champion."

The Great British Bake Off airs tonight at 8PM on Channel 4, hosted by Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding.
