Jason Manford is being tipped to front BBC One's new cookery show to rival Bake Off.
The BBC lost the Great British Bake Off to Channel 4 this year but is set to replace it with a new, rather different show.
Called My Mum Cooks Better Than Yours, the series will see mums team up with their children to create family recipes.
They'll then be judged with the winners enjoying an as yet to be revealed prize.
The Sun newspaper reports that comedian Jason Manford will front the new series when it airs later this year, with MasterChef judge Monica Galetti also starring.
A TV insider told the tabloid: “The BBC have been gunning to find a replacement for Bake Off ever since it was nabbed by Channel 4.
“And now they think they’ve found the answer to a fun new cookery show in this."
They added: “And producers think Jason will be able to bring back the comedic charm that Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc brought to Bake Off.”
Earlier this year, Channel 4 confirmed its line up for the Bake Off with Prue Leith replacing Mary Berry alongside Paul Hollywood as judges, while Noel Fielding and Sandy Tosvig were revealed as the new hosts.
Neither Channel 4's Bake Off nor the BBC's My Mum Cooks Better Than Yours have confirmed start dates yet.
