It was tudor week on the Great British Bake Off 2016 tonight but who left and who won star bker?

Tonight Great British Bake Off saw a first for the show: Tudor week and we said goodbye to Benjamina Ebuehi.
It was the Quarter-Final this week and five bakers remain.
The BBC One series stepped back in time with three brand new challenges set from the time when Henry VIII ruled over the country.
First up was a classic Tudor pie in the signature challenge before the technical challenge set by Paul Hollywood.
The bakers were faced with some unusual cooking tools as they were asked to make 12 knotted biscuits called jumbles.
When it came to the judging by Paul and Mary Berry, Candice Brown came out on top but Jane Beedle found herself ranked bottom of the final five for her bake.
With the next elimination looming, it was then onto the showstopper and the last chance the bakers had to win a spot in the semi-final.
This week they had to construct a 3D marzipan masterpiece good enough to grace the tables of a any royal Tudor banquet.
Who won star baker?
It was then down to Paul and Mary to deliberate over who should leave the tent and who should go home.
As always, Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins delivered the news as Candice triumphed as star baker while Benjamina was sent home.
Therefore those in the semi-final are Andrew Smyth, Jane Beedle, Selasi Gbormittah and Candice Brown.
The Great British Bake Off 2016 semi-final airs next Wednesday night at 8PM on BBC One.
