Ruby Tandoh, former contestant of The Great British Bake Off, appears to have RIPPED IN to Paul Hollywood after it was announced he will return as a judge on Channel 4.
This morning it was finally announced that much-loved Bake Off judge Mary Berry has quit - but her partner-in-crime Paul will remain in the tent at its new home after signing a three-year deal.
The news naturally sparked a huge debate on Twitter - but it seems the most savage reaction came from Ruby, who was a finalist on the show's fourth series.
Although she didn't mention any specific names, this afternoon she lashed out at a "peacocking manchild" for chasing big money.
"Ahhhhhh a peacocking manchild lingering wherever the money is, i am shocked," she wrote. "This, from a man who turned up to work revving a rental lamborghini. or was it a ferrari. i don't remember, the air was thick w testosterone.
"Call me ishmael. my child, it was a dark time: shirts tucked into bootcut jeans and the season's first dusting of spray tan on the ground... we locked in battle with a mythic beast, both bright white and mahogany, man and baby, ego and terrible, terrible fragility all at once."
She added: "I will be told off for this. i did it all for you my friends."
While many viewers have branded Paul a "traitor" for not joining Mary and presenters Mel and Sue in quitting, some have defended him - pointing out that he may also want to remain loyal to the show that gave him his big TV break.
HERE IS MY HOT TAKE ON PAUL HOLLYWOOD: BAKE OFF MADE HIM A STAR, THE OTHER THREE ALREADY HAD MEDIA CAREERS. HE IS BEING LOYAL. TAKE ENDS.
