Could we see Jamie Oliver on The Great British Bake Off next year when it moves to Channel 4?
Following news that the show will be leaving the BBC after the current series - and at least presenters Mel & Sue won't be staying - the rumour mill has gone into overdrive.
Channel 4 regular Jamie Oliver is one of the names linked to the show and he told the Daily Star newspaper today: "The whole family loves it. Secretly there’s always a part of me in mourning because I’d love to be one of the judges.”
Other names linked to roles on Bake Off on Channel 4 include celebrity chef Simon Rimmer and presenter Anna Richardson, but that could be rather awkward with her dating former co-host Sue Perkins.
While Mel and & Sue won't be back, the future for judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood isn't as certain.
The pair haven't yet declared their intentions but Paul has hinted he may at least stay with the show as it moves.
“It’s not my call. I work for Love Productions. I work for the Bake Off. I’m just a judge," he said yesterday.
For now, the Great British Bake Off continues its final BBC One series on Wednesday nights at 8PM.
