According to The Sun, show bosses have approached the 24-year-old, who shot to fame as a member of the four-piece on The X Factor in 2008.
But Aston could be in for some criticism, as he's only famed for one dance move - his trademark back-flips!
A source said: "Producers feel Aston is perfect for the the show. He’ll be able to relate to the contestants as he made his name on a reality talent show himself.
"But they will have to wait and see if he’s available first."
It is unclear whether Aston would join as a fourth judge, or replace one of the existing three panellists - Diversity leader Ashley Banjo, former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt and tap legend Adam Garcia.
Got To Dance - presented by Davina McCall - will return to our screens at the end of the year, with auditions set to begin next month.
